The lazy girl’s guide to a clean house
Cleaning your home is not the best thing ever but, unless you’re born very rich, it’s something you have to deal with. "What if I’m too lazy to keep on top of everything?", you might ask. Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.
Make the bed
Your room will instantly look tidier once you make your bed, so do yourself a favor and make your bed every single morning. It takes no more than 30 seconds but you’ll feel a whole lot better.
Do the dishes after you’re done eating
A sink full of dishes is everybody’s nightmare. The last thing you would want to do after finishing a nice meal is doing the dishes but it’ll save you a lot of time and you’ll feel less anxious about the state of your home.
Declutter your home
We tend to accumulate a whole bunch of stuff we don’t actually need. Go through your stuff and get rid of everything you don’t need and will never use – select some things you can give to charity and throw the rest of it away. Your house will instantly look more organized.
Maintain order in your home
Every item in your home should have a designated place and that is where you’re supposed to keep them. Yes, it feels good to take off your bra at the end of the day and throw it on the couch but don’t leave them there for days.
Get a mini vacuum cleaner
It is extremely tiresome to get the vacuum cleaner every time something small needs vacuuming. Get a mini vacuum cleaner - it’s easy to reach for when the kids knock over the flower pot.
Turn on the volume
Put your favorite music on and turn on the volume when you’re about to do some cleaning. You’ll enjoy it much more and if you throw in some extra moves, you’ll be done with your exercise for the day.
