If life is too hard on you, remember these
Life is hard sometimes, it's just not fair. But then there are days when we realize that life is beautiful just the way it is. Every coin has two sides, one can't exist without the other. Life is hard for everyone, but no one said it'd be easy. There are moments of despair and discouragement. In moments like these, it's best to focus on things that can help you go on.
Trust your experiences
Yes, life can be a cruel teacher; but remember, it's all for the best. As you go through hardships, you become stronger and wiser; you'll also be prepared when certain things happen again.
Accept the facts
Instead of worrying about the future, try focusing on your current situation and how you could make the most out of it. I know it's not easy. When I lost people I held very dear, I couldn't imagine accepting it, but life taught me to do so for my own good. I know how hard it is; but believe me, it's just not worth beating yourself up for something you can't change. It is what it is. Just give yourself time to accept it.
Make the most out of your present situation
Procrastinating never helped anyone and when you keep putting things off, all you're doing is trying to enjoy your comfort zone a little while longer, but you’re not getting anywhere. I know this too well; because, as I used to suffer from panic attacks, I used to procrastinate like it was my job. But after a while, you realize that the perfect moment you've been waiting for will never actually come. Just do it.
The power of love
Often times we'd rather hide from the world when it's really tough. I used to do that but I promise, spending time with your loved ones will be a huge help. Stop hiding, you matter to them.
Be grateful
Be thankful for what you do have. Do not focus on the negative stuff, look for all the good things in your life and appreciate them. Looking for hope will never disappoint you. If you look carefully, you'll see that there's so much to be thankful for. Don't take these things for granted.
Stop comparing yourself to others
Most people mean well when they give advice but remember, it's your life. It's your story and not theirs! No one knows how to deal with a particular situation in your life better than you. Listen to your heart.
The road to success might be crooked
The best destinations in life are often times not the first stops... or the second. There are times when you have to change trains to get to your destination; or you might have to take the wheel. Remember, it's not the length of the journey that matters. Just enjoy it and learn, learn, and learn as much as you can. In life, everything happens for a reason.
